Discussion: Politico: Hannity Told Staffers He's Not Leaving Fox News

At least not today…

Wait a minute. Politico is now using someone else-- Fox staffers as a source? Doesn’t this violate their exclusivity agreement with Reince?

Translation: “I’m leaving Fox”.

The Fox host on Monday night addressed “friends in the media” watching the show and said that “all the lies you’ve heard about me are not true.”

I think as a young person my path to nihilism and distrust of other people started with the realization the lies I was being told weren't true.

Were his lips moving at the time? Then he’s leaving Fox.

He’ll hang on as long as he can so that he can praise his Cheeto BFF

As a practical matter, if he wants to stay on TV where else could he go? Headline News?

The European outlets don’t indulge idiots and he only plays well with aging white American bigots. Who beside Fox is going to cater to that nightly?

It’s a serious question. This isn’t my world so maybe there are outlets for him that I just don’t know about.

I’d expect any exit would include a pay out and a non-compete for at least 3 years. He could take his money and go home to just doing Radio, but I think he likes TV more.

Mass suicides are planned on twitter. Everyone was so hopeful, this level of disappointment is hard to cope with. Meanwhile Tuckity Tuck signed an eight figure book deal.

LA Times: Tucker Carlson lands an eight-figure, two-book deal with Threshold Editions

Also did anyone see the story on Giuliani? Insane. Remember how bad the Iran deal was? Well looks like Giuliani has been representing one of the sides in the dispute over Iran’s nuclear program. Guess which side he’s on? No really, guess.

Giuliani and former U.S. attorney general Michael Mukasey are working on behalf of a Turkish gold trader accused of helping Iran circumvent U.S. sanctions related to its nuclear program.

I guess this is another one of those examples of “the truth is stranger than fiction.”

Honestly, folks, you just can’t make this stuff up. People would laugh you out of town.

I feel like a crazy person when all I’m doing is reading or watching the damn news, and having a normal reaction to it.

Seems to me its just a matter of time before someone new accuses him and this jackass has even less people at Faux that will be willing to come to his defense. Now that some of their bigger enablers out the door, how willing will they be to defend him or protect him should that happen? Hope that Faux has a strong morals clause in this blowhard’s contract. They’d be fools if they didn’t. In the meantime, they’ll still be on the hook for employing this scumbag whenever he steps over the line. Good luck with that going forward.

Hannity lies for a living. What makes Politico think he wouldn’t do it during his off time?

What a forgiving man. I thought the betrayal and humiliation at having his ultimatum brushed aside as nothing would be too much for him. Perhaps he’s discovered a deeper layer of masochism in himself that he only now can acknowledge
I hope playing second fiddle to Tucker Carlson isn’t too hard for him.

Hannity - Vanity - Inanity---------MANATEE?

Nooooooooooo — manatees are sweet and gentle creatures, don’t put them anywhere near a POS like Hannity.

True-I was just observing that Hannity is looking a little chunky lately–a little too much comfort food since being brushed aside and ignored. When’s the last time The Donald even called?
