Discussion: Police: Unlicensed Teen Designated Driver Pulled Over For Going 103mph

One has to wonder where a 15 year old driver wanted to go at such a fast speed in the state of PA.

In my opinion, there’s nowhere worth getting to by going that fast, especially in PA.

WIll this kid spend time in juvenile prison or will he have his driver’s license by 17?

If the uncle had driven, they’d only would have been going maybe 30. Just as dangerous.

Is this a publicity stunt for the new Archie Comics?

They say the teen told police he was driving his sick uncle to the hospital, but that the uncle later admitted to smoking marijuana.

The teen misunderstood his uncle. What he said was "Man, that was some sick weed!"

Let me guess—you’re from Delaware.

The police in my part of town will let you off with a warning if you tell them you’re speeding because Miss Kitty is having a sale.

“Oh, well, you better be on your way I guess.”

Why is America, the Land of the Free, so scared about speed?

In Germany, going 100 mph in the passing lane merely means that there’s going to be a line of pissed-off drivers right behind you, looking to pass.

Or not around 15 year olds much.( There’s a reason most places don’t let them drive…)

I’m guessing the Google autopilot car can’t come soon enough for the uncle.

Smoke in peace in the comfort of your vehicle.

That’s an image from a German Autobahn if I’ve ever seen one. Definitely not a US Interstate.
