Discussion for article #226266
It scares the crap out of me to see how militarized the police are in these photos. This isn’t Iraq-this is Missouri.
That one image of a squad of depersonalized, robotic-looking paramilitary guys pointing rifles at one skinny kid—that’s an ugly, ugly thing, just Orwellian. I’m anti-looting and pro-order, but that’s disturbing and wrong.
That’s seriously out of line.
Why are police, in the middle of a city, wearing green camo? What possible rationale do they have for that?
Wrong. Cops are people. Nobody deserves to die. Nobody.
What we need is for this case to be investigated as a criminal matter and if the facts require it for the cop prosecuted.
According to the kid who was with Brown, the cops haven’t even taken his statement. Bad police work, really bad police work.
Investigators will sort out what really happened here. What I don’t understand is that a segment of the population feels like it’s OK to loot and riot when things like this happens.
Will George “Rambo” Zimmertwat be there to restore order, as a self-appointed security guard?
SIcKENING. WHEn WiLL the War ON WhITES enD? End THe War ON WHItes!!!1!!1!1!1!1!one!!!
Rambo would never show up where he was outnumbered.
Will you please stop saying that! It’s not productive.
We are into some dark times. It’s also clear from the pictures that Ferguson PD needs to eat more salad.
I’ve read comments elsewhere and a few people are convinced the cop is going to get off if he did kill the kid without cause.
Dear god, I hope not.
Because they are angry and nothing “civil” seems to change things.
