I agree there are more important issues, but it’s not Ukraine. It’s that Hello Kitty is not, in fact, a real kitty. I won’t believe it til i read it here though!

Joan Rivers, consummate entertainer. We care about all issues here, from the Ukraine, to ISIS to politics, to the people who have entertained us for decades.
I hope she pulls through, but let’s be honest with each other, 81 is not young anymore.

Agreed. I don’t wish ill health on others, but I find it very challenging to generate sympathy for this woman after all the bile and hatred she has within her.

I predate Josh by quite a few years. In my era, he wouldn’t have been allowed to graduate, what with all the lousy grammar and awkward phrasing in his blog entries.

She is the kind of woman who says to an airline reservations clerk “Don’t you know I am” and expects it to work magic. I think she’s sort of a woman-hating woman, but deep, deep down there’s a pulse because she has organized a group called God’s Love We Deliver which delivers meals to people in NY to sick to get out, something like Meals on Wheels. I give her props for that.
I’m no fan, though I don’t want to see ill happen needlessly to her (she was kinda funny on Carson back in the day), but if she dies, would Melissa prop her up in some kind of Lenin-like exhibit? It seems like something the Rivers would do, and she and Phyllis Diller are the first folks to get Lenin-type embalming jobs when alive.
