Discussion: Police, FBI Respond To 'Ongoing' Active Shooter At Factory In Aurora, IL

Ironic that the same day he declares the fake emergency, we have another example of the Actual emergency slaughtering innocent Americans.

We could save a few billion dollars if we just sent Thoughts and Prayers to the border, since that seems to work.

Aurora has a majority Latino population. Jackass Trump can only hope.

Had a shooting near me yesterday, although I only knew about it from TV report at 6.

I think this dude was literally off his meds. Sad either way.

Is he wearing a red hat, by chance?

Security analyst John O’Malley told WGN that four police officers were injured in the shooting. There are reports that as many as six other people were injured.

I’m thinking either disgruntled worker that got let go or a domestic dispute that went public.

Who says that Latinos don’t assimilate? They are doing workplace shooting like any white bread guy.

A national emergency declaration for this, the 361st, active shooter situation since last year? Nope. Just thoughts and prayers. It isn’t as if anyone is killed. Now on to the caravans . . .

Nope. The PD there just announced that the shooter has been apprehended.

White dude, 100%.

Brown and black ones don’t get the chance to get apprehended. Or even carry skittles.

For years Arouca was one of Chicago’s 40,000+ satalite cities. About 20 years ago the suburbs grew out to it. It is now 110,000+.

Mass shootings are the national emergency. Declare the real one Donnie.

I went to a poultry processing plant in an area of Ohio that was surrounded by a lot of Amish folks and that plant was almost exclusively Latino. I asked and was told it used to have a lot of Amish, but when they quit paying well the Amish folks wouldn’t put up with it. I bet that’s a similar situation here.

The cops were only “injured?” Obviously the NRA isn’t lobbying hard enough on expanding access to “cop-killer” bullets and banning body armor.

Maybe the NRA needs to increase its spending on obtaining those two goals. Russia? Calling Russia for more “fungible” funds. (Snark.)

Last time I went to Aurora it was more like 5000, we had to drove through cornfields to get there. My aunt loved to go to the Ground Round there.

The shooter must have wandered away from his caravan.

Ya where’s the big emergency we gotta build a wall around it again?

I’m sure Trump will invite a few representative family members of those injured in Aurora to his next press conference.

At some point (soon, or perhaps it has already started), the Columbine and Parkland generations are going to grow up, have kids of their own, and start voting in numbers large enough and reliable enough to put an end to this shit.
