Discussion: Peter Thiel Will Reportedly Say He's 'Proud Gay Man' During RNC Speech

This Thiel asshat cares about nothing but his tax bill and perhaps deregulating Wall Street so he can make more money there…that is the only reason he’s a Republican. They are who we think they are.

If he’s such a “proud” gay man why did he sue gawker for outing him?

Also, I’m kinda wondering how “proud” someone can actually be of being gay if he’s thrown a multi-million dollar legal fees tantrum shadow-funding lawsuits against the company that outed him. A proud gay man would have just said “damn straight mofo…thanks for the publicity.”

So his planned remarks just don’t jibe with his behavior in any way, shape or form.

He’s a plutocrat who was asked to participate in and assist the oligarchy’s duping of its army of Dunning-Kreugerites…and that’s all he is.

I think there will be tremendous applause for that statement – applause of a “See, America? Look-how-wonderful-we-are-let’s-pat-ourselves-on-the-back-for-being-so-inclusive!” variety.

But I think some boos will sneak in to pull the curtain back.

If you’re speaking at Trumpaloosa your sexual orientation if completely irrelevant: you’re still an asshole.

Self hate personified.

This should be interesting. Remember the republican debate where a serviceman was booed for advocating for healthcare… because lack of it could kill you. This fella will probably get the same reaction.

Yes indeed… if he does say that, he won’t get a warm welcome.

When Jeff Kolbe spoke 16 years ago at the dubya meetup, it didn’t go well.

The protest began when he took the stage. Delegates from Bush’s home state of Texas, standing up front, took off their hats and bowed their heads in silent prayer. They were about 25 feet away, but Kolbe didn’t notice because of the blinding convention lights.

I remember watching that. They were acting as if exorcising some evil spirit. And if anything the GOP platform has gotten more homophobic since then.
