Well, I have seen remarks from there that Afghan leaders hated the hospital (and the doctors) because they treated wounded without regard to which side they happened to be on that day. We certainly will never know what really happened because I’m certain that what Ash told those two generals was, “I don’t want to see anybody blamed for this.”
