The Hollywood dig from Pence rings hollow. Georgia has a sizable film and television production industry. I’m sure a lot of those folks who work in the industry there will give him hell.

Not really. Pence is a white guy that comes from a predominately white state and he ran a religious hustle in order to get where he is. After a term as Gov he was so unpopular Trump threw him a lifeline to keep him from defeat or removal from the ballot. He’s Veep because Trump used him ( he was in no position to say no ) to garner the Religious vote and not for any skill or capability he has.
Oprah grew up in the South a black woman. Her ladder was much much harder to climb than Pence’s but she went all the way to the top rung and then some. She’s the richest woman in America and self made. And Black. Throw out race and sex and you still have an achievement gap so wide there are not two points on earth far enough apart to place the two.
And no. He’s no big deal at all.
