Yes, but on policy he’s probably right – and it’s because it’s Pence’s policy. This is why IMO all those “be careful what you wish for” stories about the perils of President Pence if Trump’s impeached are off-base: domestically, it’s effectively already Pence’s administration. And on foreign policy, we could be at least a little less terrified about the prospect of nuclear catastrophe.

That’s the reason. But they don’t factor in the disadvantage Pence would be under. He wasn’t elected and he would be nothing but a place holder until the next election. He could throw some pardons around but I don’t think much else would happen. And especially since we’re taking Congress back.

For the Vice President there is no more compassionate thing to do than make the life of some poor pregnant woman a living hell. He forces her to have her baby, and then forces her to work three jobs without health insurance or a hope of a better future for her or her child. Of course if the woman isn’t poor, he winks and nods as she goes to a famous clinic for an abortion.
