It can’t be “wait around”, though some people think that’s all it will take. That will work out, but it will be decades. This election is a chance for Democrats to sound a wakeup call to everyone who doesn’t vote and doesn’t fit into the “real America” to come out and participate. It’s going to be a lot of work, but the work has to start now…Trump and the Republicans might just make it easier by turning the country to the far right, but that still requires getting people out now to start them registering (in spite of Republican blockages) and voting.

I’m telling you, with these people in charge of ALL BRANCHES of Government, APARTHEID is a very, VERY real possibility in this country.
The scary part is; 45% of the country would be JUST FINE with that.

Reminds me of apartheid in South Africa. I’ve been obsessing over the 2010 redistricting for a few months now, and with Clinton’s lose (despite winning the popular vote), I’m feeling more and more pessimistic.

Part of minority voting’s “choice” was being purged from voter rolls / provision ballots not counted, hours of voting early or on-day cut, limited places to vote, armed “watchers”, the promise of intimidation…
