Sergey! Step forward Sergey. Surely you plan to follow thru on that meeting yesterday.
A bit OT here, but didnât our great liar-in-chief have some kind of secret plan to get rid of ISIS in like 30 days?
Election Integrity my ass.
The few things theyâre actually doing are laughable.
The rest of their energy is spent on the cover up.
Honest to GODâŠyou canât make this crap up. Appoint the Chief-Iâmgonnafkupvotinginthiscountry-dickwad and appoint him to screwing AmericaâŠItâs OUT OF KANSAS now peeps!
Policy proposals to come from this commission:
- You can only register to vote on the 7th Wednesday of each month, and only between 10:30 and 11:30.
- Poll workers can bar you from voting if you (A) look like youâre on public assistance, (B) seem foreign, © are a woman but not âgrabbableâ.
- State legislatures (R only, naturally) can toss out as many âurbanâ votes as they please.
Distraction? Ever since this was first announced (Pence only at that time), what this looked like to me is voter suppression going federal. The GOP is using every lever of power to retain permanent control of the nation. 2016 may have been our last free election.
Iâm feeling more confident now that Pence will not be around to finish this commissionâs âwork.â Glenn Thrushâhardly some out-there commentatorâsaid on Morning Joe today that Pence was âin the roomâ on the Flynn conversations. He is implicated too and totally lying about it.
When Trump goes downâand he willâheâs taking Pence with him.
So youâve got a guy who has repeatedly been slapped down for lawbreaking heading the commission, and they really expect democrats to get on board. Somehow Iâm doubtful.
A better headline:
âFox Guards Henhouse Against Vicious Animalâ
I hope there is no taxpayer money involved in this crap!
Was 2016 a âfree electionâ? i suggest not.
From the article: ââThe commission will also examine the issue of voter suppression, officials said.â
CORRECTION: âThe commission views implementing voter suppression schemes as its goal, the reason Trump created it, officials should have said"
â> Fixed it for you. No charge.
Trump needs to appoint this guy to the Commission too:
Why donât they save time and money and just write the report now? It would be just the same and just as backed up by evidence (i.e., not at all) as it would be after spending millions of dollars.
Yeah, I hesitated over that. But I suspect what weâre looking at in the not-so-distant future is âelectionsâ as in â you vote, the GOP pick the winners. Thatâs a whole level beyond, weâll make it harder for certain people to voteâŠbut we also need to be careful the feds donât catch us cheating.
Will they have to subpoena Kobachâs lunch order every day?
Nothing laughable about this, unfortunately. It is the beginning, or rather the latest stage, of the forthcoming attempt to fix the 2018 midterm. The strategy involve (1) massive voter suppression; (2) blatant disinformation and confusion, with Russian help; (3) simple outright fraudulent ballot miscounting; and (4) in the event of a Democratic takeover of the house, a claim that the election was rigged and the results should not be accepted. We can definitely expect a war of some kind, too.
At the risk of repeating myself, if the GOP get away with not investigating Trump even as he disables the FBI< there is absolutely no reason why stealing the 2018 election in the mode of a tinpot country should not happen here.
Itâs too late. Every reporter in the world has Woodward and Bernstein dreams right now.

Yes, and not just the House. State legislatures too. And hereâs one more thought to take to bed tonight. The Trump administration will control the 2020 census.
This is perfect, since neither one has a shred of integrity. I hereby dub this the âBizarro Presidency.â
