For what? To take over for T rumpp? That would explain a lot about recent events, but i don’t believe the Dotard has the discipline to maintain any charade that would lead to that ever happening. Unless McConnell is deliberately AWOL in order to give T rumpp enough rope to invoke the 25th…Still, i don’t see it.
It is the way the evangelicals think. The want to hurt people who they think need hurting. Those are the people the the mega church preaches, Limbaughs and Coulters of the world tell them need hurting.

A good friend of mine in Social Work (MSW) has disclosed to me the why and the how of this. It did not feel good hearing it.

I could see why you would feel that way, but I don’t think its what is happening.
Their trust in allowing Trump to go out unscripted is diminishing from a very low threshold, every single day right now. There is no way in hell, for example, they are going to let him do a sit down interview like this right now, and certainly not the morning of his big propaganda event.
So they have to use Pence.
The other thing I like to consider is, I can’t believe that Trump is all that comfortable with Pence; particularly with Pence getting media exposure. So I think he would be throwing tantrums if he thought they were giving Pence more coverage to make him “ready”.

During an interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl that aired Tuesday morning, Vice President Mike Pence dodged questions about President Trump’s penchant for spreading falsehoods, and suggested the “American people aren’t as concerned about the political debate as they are concerned about what’s really happening at the border.”
Anyone else seeing the trouble with this answer?

This is what they have come to. They spent eight years getting radicalized by rightwing media and Fox News spewing lies about President Obama, liberals, the government, public schools, feminists, gays, immigrants, and the deficit.
The first chance they got they gave America the middle finger by voting for Trump.
And if they are fundamentalist evangelicals, they really don’t believe that they will be adversely affected by Trump’s politics of cruelty. Remember, many of them believe in the Rapture, and that they will cheat death and be elevated straight to heaven without dying, while their enemies and those they disagree with will be forced to endure hell on earth.

I bravely watched and listened to the Grim Veeper’s absolutely unbelievable insidious comments, while trying hard not to puke from looking at his putrid pusillanimous pestilential nincompoop face.
Pence is for sure one of the devil’s own spawn. Even the petty dotards of redder-than-a baboon’s behind Indiana couldn’t wait to get shed of him and were quite happy to have Trump take him off their hands.
Then the same petty dotards turned around and elected another creepy cretin who’s just as bad and was probably Pence’s chief butt-kisser, Lt. Gov. Eric Holcomb. For crime’s sake.

Somewhat OT, a former work friend ranted and raved about Clinton because he lied about his affair. (She is a RWNJ faux Christian.). I wonder what she thinks of Dolt 45’s hundreds of lies every day. Probably she supports him.
