Reporters need to change the narrative. When covering the Vice President discussing ANY topic, reporters should ask/push him, “What did you know as chair of the transition team? When did you know it?” If he wasn’t aware of what was happening under his watch, then it speaks volumes as to his incompetence. If he did know what was happening, then I guess it will come out in the Mueller report, and he’s toast. Don’t let him or his staff change the subject. Push him on how he reconciles his “religious views” with the President’s established lifelong behavior, let alone his lies to the public (as of 11/2, it was documented as 6,420). Make him address why he accepted the position. Expose his hypocrisy and motives. Just a guess here, but I doubt he has the true best interest of the US public in mind - just his vision of control.

The article should note that Omar apologized. In fact, she graciously and unequivocally apologized.
Meanwhile, McCarthy hasn’t even acknowledge the far more disgraceful anti-Semitic Tweet he sent and then quietly deleted intimating that three Jews were secretly funding the Democrats.

Josh Marshall used this moment as an opportunity to say “blacks are lazy”…not once, but twice, on twitter. As a rhetorical device because “not all blacks are lazy” (yes, he really went there…not once by twice), while arguing its completely unacceptable for anyone to mention that AIPAC uses financial resources to influence legislators regarding Israel (which, btw…isn’t what “some AIPAC do”…its EXACTLY what AIPAC does).
I was and continue to be completely stunned by the complete tone deafness of that.

As a Dane, I don’t understand the roles here.
If Donald or Pence has any complaints about a congressperson, shouldn’t they direct their grievances to Speaker Pelosi and ask her to take action?
Seems unseemly to me, that the Executive (or his VP) criticize individual members of the House. They could trigger attacks against those persons from their more rabid supporters.
