Actually, nothing, much like the GOP’s use of “family values” has nothing to do with actual family values.
Besides, for them “media bias” is when the media points out that the lies told by Trump, Pence, Conway, Giuliani, Hicks, Pierson, et alii are actually lies instead of simply reporting exactly what they say and leaving it at that. The press is not supposed to point out when people are lying. That’s not their job. Chuck Todd said so. Basically, the truth has a strong liberal bias and when the press tells the truth it can immediately be seen as biased against conservatives.

Before the Media allowed the passage of time to soft focus St Ronald Reagan into the “Great Communicator (Teleprompter Reader)” and the “Winner of the Cold War”, there was a pretty routine perception in the day to day reporting during his presidency that some of his handlers were like the guys following the Barnum & Baily Circus elephants with brooms to sweep up the dung they left as they walked. Pence is merely the current day equivalent of the dung sweepers. Every morning he wakes up to read about and be handed a list from Kellyanne of the dung pile over here and the dung pile over yonder he has to make some platitude brave face statement about and clean up for The Donald.
An underappreciated and oft-overlooked side item: Louie Gohmert’s realization that, when Pence left the House, Gohmert automatically became The Dumbest Man in Congress. Before that, he was worried he’d need to fight Pence in a steel-cage match, in order to have a chance at that title.

Trump and Pence have a utter disregard for America’s democratic institutions. Where was they in civics class in school? Here is a example of a contested election: Go back to 1990. When the Sandinistas lost a internationally supervised election after a over 10 year civil war they coincided fairly gracefully.
