Discussion: Pence: 'All Options Are On The Table' With North Korea

Here’s an investigation that I would like to see:
Whose budget does the cost of “giving” any Congresscritter or Executive Branch flunky a leather bomber jacket come from? Do they get a new one each time they visit a military base?

Pence seems to have missed the point that the central feature of the policy of “strategic patience” was bringing economic and diplomatic pressure to bear to induce N. Korea to give up its nukes. Multilateralism is critical to any N Korean policy since its neighbors have strong interests of their own which are different from those of the US. With a more left-leaning government likely t of be elected on May 9, thetc difference will become more acute. Does Pence understand any of this?

During a visit to South Korea and the Korean Demilitarized Zone, Vice President Mike Pence said that “all options are on the table” when it comes to preventing North Korea from using a nuclear weapon.

So Pence is divulging for the world to digest the U.S. is willing to drop a hydrogen bomb on Pyongyang, followed by rounding up all surviving members of the military and politcal leadership, sending them to concentration camps, and gassing them.

Good to know.

Here’s another option: Move Seoul out of artillery range.
OR
Quit provoking Kim. He has a huge ego and a vicious mental instability.

I thought the main purpose of wearing a leather bomber jacket is to enhance the probability that you will score. What does Mrs. Pence think about that?

…always no.

No matter the question.

Is that really a thing? When you’re a teenager, I know motorcycle jackets are supposed to give that come-sex-me look, but I didn’t know that was so for bomber jackets, too.

Never thought that W would would ever be used as a contrast where he was the “better”.

Ugh.

Pence said that “all options are on the table”

Worst. Cliche’. Ever.
Meaningless, and yet…so very Pence.

No, because he’s think in the “good old days” where you could threaten uppity neighbors instead of taking non-manly actions like sanctions and diplomacy.

I am sure our ambassador to South Korea informed Pence on everything before he went on this trip. Oh wait…Trump hasn’t named an ambassador to South Korea. Well, I am sure our Japanese ambassador can fill in the missing info…Oh wait, Trump hasn’t named that person, either.

In fact, the only ambassadors Trump has named to that entire region is the Chinese ambassador, who is still playing governor in Iowa, and the Singapore ambassador, who is still acting like she is working for the NSC.

So I think its pretty clear that diplomacy was never an option.

Why do they give these guys such cheesy jackets and such?

How did I forget to make this comment?

Pence has always been a classic Leather Daddy, it’s the white hair.

This is a Korean War Memorial at the Presidio in San Francisco. Pence has no idea.

So we’re negotiating with North Korea while holding a gun to South Korea’s head.
(Seems a lot like Trump’s strategy on Obamacare: “I don’t want people to get hurt.”)
How is this not criminally irresponsible?
