I love how she matter-of-factly lays down the law with a “yeah, well that’s not happening” attitude, and then calmly throws in a couple of digs to make it clear she knows exactly what she’s dealing with. I’d say more than feeling anger toward her, Trump is flat-out intimidated.

he was too connected to the Bushes, who hate Trump. No way that Rove could cross the river of distate the Bushes have/had for Don the Con. Rove has plenty of gigs, he does not need the money, and is also smart enough (when Trump started coming for the Bushies when his bunch of morons failed or got indicted) to see that Trump comes crashing down in the end. Rove would rather be there to pick up the pieces.
That Trump has someone like Brad Perscale (who I still think Mueller will end up indicting for something) running his campaign, shows how no one decent will work for him.

She’s no different now than she was “then”. Just now she has power (majority of the votes), to a) make it stick, and b) get attention from the media since a). That’s what all the carpers about Pelosi/Schumer just refuse(d) to understand. The minority party in the houses of congress is, by the rules and design, pretty impotent. If, in the minority, you want the leaders to change things, try giving them a majority.

I don’t recall her being this way when she had the majority during the Bush era. Too polite and too accommodating back then as I remember it.
