Maybe it is just my cynical nature, but my guess is that key parts of the instructions given to the FBI by the WH (read Don McGahn and with input from the GOP members of the Judiciary plus McConnell) were delivered verbally for just such a situation. Donnie liked to avoid using emails and would courier stuff or send verbal instructions. This is part of their MO. Look for explanations that instructions were relayed verbally and that those delivering them have suddenly developed terminal amnesia.

I havenāt done any side by side analysis yet, but I wonder if any of the same people who say democrats donāt fight for anything also complain that Pelosi shouldnāt be Speaker again. If so, I suspect high levels of borscht and vodka in them.

No doubt they would attempt to keep everything verbal, but thereās only so much that can be communicated verbally to a group of people involved in something like this. Of course, any email that exists could be deleted from all systems, but that takes work and requires knowledge of any such email.
I suspect a written message exists. The questions are, would it be a smoking gun, and would it matter even if it was, given the current environment.
