The parents said Lord met their daughter through a mutual friend several years ago and got a protection order against him when they found out about his criminal history. The two recently reconnected after she had a miscarriage and his young child died.

It makes sense only to a criminal mind. You don’t want to go back to prison, so stalk, harass, kidnap. rape a woman. Then, to insure you never set foot in the Big House again, murder three people you do not known, have possession of weapon, then attempt to murder your kidnapped and rape victim.

Her parents, too. A “mutual friend” introduced their daughter to a nutbag with “a criminal record (with) convictions for domestic assault, criminal threatening and assault, and convicted in 2004 of unlawful sexual contact with someone under the age of 14.” (Fourteen! At the time, Lord was 24.)
They need new friends too.
