Don’t think so. Personally I’m not even sure you can indict a sitting president. Pretty sure impeachment is the remedy. Mueller isn’t even empowered as a special prosecutor to publicize his final report (or whatever comes out of it), I believe. An independent prosecutor would, but not a special. Someone who has a better handle on this, feel free to fact check me.
I’d really like to know these things too. I keep seeing him described as an oil and gas consultant. Is he somehow involved with Tillerson? Tillerson certainly had preexisting contacts with Russia through his Exxon work.
Looking into Papadopoulos predates Mueller. Comey and his crew had evidently pegged Georgie long before Muller was appointed. Given how long they’ve been working GP, makes me think there are a lot of other shoes to drop.
The only mechanism to criminally TRY a sitting President is an Impeachment Hearing in the Senate. The House decides if he should be charged, and the Senate tries the case. The House acts like a Grand Jury - The President does not get to present a defense, there.
There is s question about indicting a sitting President… Ken Starr said he could, and did… but it has little force, as it turns out, unless Congress acts.
One of the hardest things for a parent is explaining Slavery. I think it is critical to explain slavery in an honest way. I described the early history of the United States to my 8 year old thus:
“The people who came to America where criminals, indentured servants, religious fanatics, and rich guys seeking to suck wealth out of the vast land in America. We set up a system where ships would go to Africa, Kidnap people and enslave them, chain them up in boats, and the survivors would be sold in exchange for goods and crops. These are our Ancestors: Slaves, Fanatics, Thieves, and Slavers. America fought off the British because the British wanted to tax the rich, control the fanatics, and end slavery.”
She expressed shock and horror and asked me to clarify at points. It is critical to understand that teaching our children Nationalism is wrong. It is wrong because America is not worthy of religious reverence. While much good has come from America, much evil has as well. While the Declaration of Independence sounds high and mighty, it covers up the desire of the slavers to be free of an empire that was increasingly raising the moral alarm about slavery. It covers up the fact that the Author was a slaver.
I guess it’s irony but in one way it was Hillary. Enough Republicans thought that she would mop the floor with Trump if he was nominated, and the few dared dream of victory wanted a “true Conservative” like Cruz. So the sampaign was wall-to-wall opportunists, the most inept the GOP could cough up.

Wasn’t he with Carson’s campaign first? Haven’t heard what he did there. He’s noted as having experience in Cpyrus–did he meet Russians there?
From discussions when Jr took the June meeting, I thought that it was illegal to receive hacked/stolen emails. Maybe Popadope wasn’t charged with that because HE didn’t actually receive them, just told the campaign about there existence?
Not true. Ordinary citizens and even sitting U.S. Senators have no authority to contact representatives of any foreign government unless approved to do so by the Department of State or the executive branch through official channel. This is why, remembered or not, Sessions’ meetings with the Russian ambassador was a crime.
