Someone here asked a few days ago how many people will die for the lets move the ‘U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem’ stunt. 37 dead, 448 wounded. Expect that number to climb.

Trump foreign policy - There will be Deaths Involved. Or, at best, negative economic consequences and/or loss of American good-standing in the world.

I and likely many others asked that question. There must be video of these shootings. Are they being shown on TV? Is the death toll even being covered?

So this makes what ever happens is fine with Trump.

I’m probably not alone in this feeling and it probably be said many times, but it seems like if Israel didn’t have the US protecting them they never do all this shit as they know they’d be wiped off the face of the earth by all the countries and folks they keep poking with a stick.

Absolutely. Hell, several (most?) of those Middle Eastern countries hide in the skirts of the US and Russia and throw rocks (or missiles) at each other knowing no one can touch them due to their patrons. And of course, it all comes down to controlling oil.

I would do everything possible to leave middle eastern oil behind. It is just too expensive politically. Why isn’t securing renewable energy first American energy policy?

Makes you think the gutting of State was intentional. Local staff who worked decades for US embassies were dismissed a year ago with no explanation.

Because all the decisions are actually made by international oil company executives. They buy their Congresscritters and president (maybe a couple of judges too) as a cost of doing business. In most countries they can just bribe the government officials to get what they want. Now that’s pretty much the case in the US too.

We will be dependent on their whims until the planet runs out of oil.

Evangelicals eagerly anticipating the Rapture. Their eyes are probably glimmering with the news that there are uprisings, riots and deaths in Israel. Hopefully, there will be a full-blown end-of-times war.

Also, the Middle East either buys or receives (in a less friendly way) the products of our military–industrial complex. Ongoing wars and terrorism is good for their business, too.
