Rarely is the question asked: is our children learning?

Every time I read about the Tea Party mind control pedagogy, I keep thinking about how well this “non-critical” approach worked in the USSR.

Expulsion. Zero tolerance for ‘treason’.

And that’s “democrat president”. All lower case.

So made up history is fine, actual history is biased. It’s not surprising though. The pushing this bill clearly only view a version of history that makes them always the righteous.

Note to Teatrolls: History is not a creative writing class or a study in convenient mythology, nor is it the vehicle for indoctrinating a new generation of conservatives.

History was and is facts. Period. You don’t get to move on to the “analysis” portion until you’ve nailed down what you’re analyzing. Apparently, the RWNJs in this country think you start with the analysis portion and then backfill the facts, fabricating and molesting them as necessary, to have your analysis come out right.

I think teaching a speech from W is a great idea. As a cautionary example, of course…

But Syfert, as well as a few historians and writers, believe “the consensus view that the story is a hoax has begun to crumble.”

According to the Supreme Court, if you believe it exists then it does.

This is so troubling. First they homeschooled and I turned my head because I didn’t want my kid exposed to those weirdos anyway. Now they’re coming for my kids through the curriculum. I should have spoke up years earlier.

Fisher! Fisher! Fisher! The Gospel according to Fisher! All the world voted and elected Fisher the Pope of US History. He alone knows what is important and relevant for children to study. All professional and dilettante US Historians go home, the position has been filled by Fisher, the new Emperor of Oklahoma.
