Discussion: O'Reilly Melts Down Over Criticism Of His Comments On 'Well Fed' Slaves

Let’s examine what he did. Michelle Obama pointed out how far we have come as a nation. She said she, the descendant of slaves and the first lady, goes to sleep each night in a mansion built by slaves. Billos response wasn’t to agree with and celibrate the stark truth of her statement. No it was to say that the slaves who built the White House were well fed. It is almost as though Bill was defending slavery. How the hell does anybody say that in 2016.

Bill we have come a long way baby, but if your cluelessness proves anything we still have a long way to go.

Princess Bride
Humperdinck: …to the death.
Westley: No. To the pain.
…Your ears you keep and I’ll tell you why. So that every shriek of every child at seeing your hideousness will be yours to cherish. Every babe that weeps at your approach, every woman who cries out, “Dear God! What is that thing,” will echo in your perfect ears. That is what to the pain means. It means I leave you in anguish, wallowing in freakish misery forever.

You need look no further than the rancid cesspool that is FOX News to find the template for Trump’s candidacy. They are the Petri dish that created the fertile matrix from which this diseased Republican candidacy was spawned. O’Reilly is, of course, and to maintain the metaphor, one of their their most accomplished delivery systems for the diseases they create and his sense of entitlement, spin, deflection, lies and self-aggrandizement reflect the FOX methodology and are as predictable as the sunrise.

We’re going to have to start to call them out by name, because that’s how bad it’s become," he said.

OK, I’ll call them out by name. The way you defeat Radical Republican Media Terrorism is with Reasonable Democratic Criticism.

Seems like a lot of people on the right like O’Reilly, Trump, Hannity etc. must have been using too much cortisone.

Some less serious side effects of cortisone may include:

  • Acne, dry skin, or thinning skin.

  • Mood changes.

  • Increased sweating.

  • Bloating.

O’Reilly, responded, telling Rivera that “it’s getting to the point of danger,” arguing that it’s tough for Fox News reporters to go out in the field.

Oh, the horror. Well, now you are starting to get a taste of what some of us “others” have been enduring for years, you crybaby. Man up, O’Reilly – or can you?

They’re contracting into a defensive circle, doubling down on their shrinking demographic.

I look forward to the day when Fox News and its allies are so small they can be drowned in a bathtub.

O’Reilly said that his comments on the slaves who helped build the White House were “100 percent accurate” and provided “context” to First Lady Michelle Obama’s speech at the Democratic convention.

What context?

The First Lady says the White House was built by slaves and you chime in “they were well fed slaves.” Who the fuck cares, they were still slaves. People held in bondage against their will in the most basic violation of the principle “All men are created equal” possible. And you were providing context?

“Sure, I raped his wife, stole his children, and forced him to work under the lash, but, by god, I fed him.”

Whupty fuck. People feed their dog, but that doesn’t mean the saying “you treat someone like a dog” is suppose to be taken as a compliment you fucking asshole.

Bolling responded to O’Reilly, “I’m not sure they want you dead.”

“Oh they do, believe me,” O’Reilly said.

Ugarte: You despise me, don’t you?
Rick: If I gave you any thought I probably would.
