But obviously more guns, more widely available is the solution.
if he had a larger magazine perhaps he would not have had to shoot himself. Our trolls will show up soon to defend his rights to kill others with a military assault style weapon.
He was obviously insane but that point is moot. Anyone who kills another human being is insane at the moment they pull the trigger.
Here’s an thought…whose gun was it and how hard will the legal system come down on that person?
thirty minutes later
I just heard on OPB that the weapons were from his own home, they were secured but that he was able to “defeat” the security. He had nine additional magazines with over 300 rounds of ammunition, a handgun too.
So his parents needed nine magazine with over 300 rounds? For Fucking what??
I’m sorry that their kid killed himself but I’m overjoyed that the little shit was cornered in that bathroom by the two resource officers before more carnage took place.
His parents need to be met with the full force of any and all applicable Oregon laws.
“Jared” seems to be a problem first name.
AR-15…the deranged little punk bitch weapon of choice.
Ya know, if I ever had to dispossess one of these assholes of their precious toy, I wouldn’t even shoot 'em with it. I’d beat the shit out of them with it instead.
If you see a gun, call 911!
Honestly, that’s probably the best way to deal with the open carry chumps. Make it so they essentially have a cop following them at all times.
How is it that a 15 years old had possession of all that arsenal? Some adult here needs to be held accountable.
What? Why? Does the Glorious Second Amendment specify that firearms are only for adults?
FYI, Troutdale is an exurb of Portland on the outside rim of the Portland meteor area.
I amended my initial post to reflect what i’d just heard on OPB.
His parents needed , for what GOOD reason, not only an AR-15 but an additional NINE MAGAZINES with and additional 270 rounds?
Forget that it’s currently their Gawd Given 'murcan right. I want these people to stand up in front of the media and tell us WHY they needed this little armory. I also look forward to hearing how young Jared was able to “defeat” their “secure” storage.
If a juvenile has access to this weaponry then to me it’s hardly “secure”
Wayne LaPierre - Born in 1948, he’s a an adult.
I wonder where he got the guns and ammunition? Probably his responsible gun owner family.
Dear NRA,
Good guy with a gun, second ammendment rights, guns don’t kill people, responsible gun owners, cold dead hands. Did I cover all of it? Can we let the victims and families mourn a little now?
Just think - mom and dad made this possible!
Good job, guys! I hope your fetish was worth the life of your kid and another innocent.
“Guns don’t kill people! People kill people!”
Repeat x infinity while sticking fingers in ears
I took an NRA-sponsored hunter safety course back in the 70’s. You know, before the loonies took over the organization.
Now, when I see an NRA sticker on somebody’s vehicle I wonder, why do you love your guns more than our country and our children? Sadly, for me it has become just that simple.
Izzit so hard to imagine Jared’s dumbass 2A parents-- after careful deliberation-- keying their little precious’ birthdate as the access code to the gun vault?
Priceless.

The only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a gun with a gun.
Dear Whiteboar,
No.
