Sounds like something Trump said last night. More delusions. Warren’s leading the pack and Bernie’s about to stand up in the boat and start waving his finger! Watch out max, the party’s just beginning!
He got a an awful lot of people really interested in what he has to say.
So, just of the opposite of you.
Virtually any American citizen over 35 is entitled to run for president. So far I’m not aware of any aspiring dem presidential candidates who aren’t entitled to run for president.
Party on.
Hickenlooper is the designated driver.
Ooooooo . . .

Bernie is still lurking around the fringe of the Democratic Party.[/quote]

And on topic… One question . . .
Is there anyone here who knows when Beto first came out into the national public spotlight?

You could just tell us, unless you’re trying to make some other point.
Obama was the first person to go directly from the legislature to Pres. since Kennedy. But he did OK the first 2 years, before the Goopers got in. The last Gooper to do it was Harding (1920). Governors have had a better success ratio. Perhaps that’s because their job requires dealing with day to day reality. But, oddly, for 2020, there are no Dem govs. in the top tier - yet at least 5 Senators, and maybe Beto. However, the sample size is small.
You think a representative in the US house will be more productive at influencing the dem party than a democratic president? That’s pretty far out, man. Can you please send me some of what you’re trippin’ on?
I have known this factoid about senators making it to the presidency, Harding, JFK and Obama only, and governors seem to do better. And I might add no one from the House.
Governor Inslee of WA has said he “might run” (and I might be the next queen of England), and former governor Hickenlooper CO is “all but certain.”
Also announcing she’s running and chasing a unicorn is this woman whose signature issue will be $100B in reparations for slaves to be paid over a decade.

We’re talking about Beto running for the senate in 2020 against Cornyn, not running for the House. And that’s the last serious thing I have to say. From now on it’s sex, drugs and rock 'n roll, man.
Nice try. We’re talking about a Beto presidential run, and I have yet to hear you say anything serious.
Sex, drugs and rock 'n roll.
