Discussion: Open Carry Texas Cancels March In Houston's Fifth Ward

Discussion for article #226458

It became obvious over the past few days that certain individuals in the area were intentionally pitting us against the community.

Victim much?

Did you ever think these people wouldn’t appreciate a bunch of rednecks carrying assault weapons down their streets?

In a related story OCT has been nominated for the Mr. Obvious Award this year. Congrats racist hillbillies.

Cowards (not a surprise.)

Lying sacks of shit wanted an intimidating demonstration, saw what happened in #Ferguson, got scared, now trying to blame the residents.

Feeling OTC’s pain, the South Side of Chicago would like to extend a welcome to OTC. Come anytime. Day… night…doesn’t matter. It will be inexpensive in that you only need to buy a one way ticket.

I clearly remember them having a black friend. Couldn’t he go talk to the brothers for them?

We believe that the Second Amendment is color blind…

It doesn’t matter if the 2A is colorblind when the people carrying them aren’t.

First draft of the press release: “We saw some of them blackies carrying a gun openly, and it scared the bejeesus out of us.”

Open Carry Texas announced this week on its Facebook page that it would be canceling a gun rights march it had planned to hold on Saturday in Houston’s Fifth Ward because even armed to the teeth they are scared out of their minds of those ni(CLAN G!)

I think that somebody pointed out to them that if they marched next to black people carrying weapons, they would be likely to get shot by the police. Just sayin’

Gee, for such strong, self-reliant types, that statement is pretty mealy-mouthed.

I think the scarlet-naped organizers have considered little else. Imagine what a kick it would be to antagonize the black bastards threatening potential murder while smiling right into the future victim’s odious dark faces.

Let me translate his statement for you: Members of the 5th ward realized we’re a bunch of crazy gun nuts and told us to go away.

“OCT is colorblind”

So! There would be no problem if 5th Ward residents displayed OCT signs as they openly carried in say, The Woodlands, or around Rice University?

I can’t believe they backed down. I thought the NRA was cowards for making similar requests of gun groups?

Well said…

…OCT suffers from the GZS------GeorgeZimmermanSyndrome.

They’re daring Hoodie-wearing, IceT drinking black teens armed with skittles to scare them into opening fire.

Notice how these open carry buffoons never have a meetup inside a bank or Federal Building or inside a state legislature? It’s always the junk food section of Target or the Slurpee machine at 7-11.

Most likely he looked at the signup sheet and only saw two names on it, his and his old lady’s.
