Think it is doing them any good?
And all trying to do so at the same time.
DWS… Must protect Hillary from her own party…
Well, the GOP has 5 times the number of candidates.
The GOP has initiated Ghost Protocols for the CNN debate…
Exactly, there was no rigging of the field. One can question whether or not Kasich had as much support as Fox claimed, but he did meet the criteria for getting on the debate stage over Perry. In light of Perry’s debate performance, even Perry’s probably glad he didn’t make it to the debate stage.
Gilmore? Maddow mentions him a lot and refers to him as “my friend Jim Gilmore.” She knows something we don’t.
Scheduled Democratic debates are October 13, CNN, November 14, CBS, December 19 ABC, January 17 NBC, and others in February and March. Watch and report back.
They could conceivably hold it at a Super Bowl half time to maximize the audience.
Not to worry. His Super Pacs ($17 million and counting) got that covered:
So it looks like Governor Oops will be around for a while.
It’s sad that I can’t decide if that would cheapen it or make it more legitimate…
The main problem with what Fox did is that the difference between #10 and #11 is not statistically significant. But the top three or whatever would be. So have them guaranteed in prime time and the rest chosen randomly. That would mix it up a little and make things more interesting, while still getting the big ratings for Trump, which CNN so desperately wants.
Since they’re not actually a news agency either.
Paying a campaign’s bills isn’t coordinating?
“I’ll have the pretzels, a Coke, and uhhh … I forget the third thing.”
It still boggles my mind that Gilmore ever thought he could stand out enough to garner any attention or support whatsoever. Either he’s delusional (a common trait among Peter Principle pols) or he had some really bad advisors. Either way, his exit probably will be a terse paragraph in the WaPo and NYT and should be coming in 5…4…3…2…
All the loons.
I have a problem with using polls to determine debates. This is particularly glaring because most of the candidates have not been able to get the message out or raise resources. The debate is the means to do that.
Gilmore’s girls Rory and Lorelai must be upset.
Jim Gilmore? But he’s the voice of the people! (The people in his own family, anyway. Or most of them, at least.)
How is this debate going to be organized? Is it going to be a cage match or a scrum?
The big question is will Donald Trump say Jack Tapper has “blood coming out of his whatever?”
