Donnie is “The evil we face”.
“In the reflection from my cell-phone screen as I frantically post things on Twitter, I see the Evil we Face”
-Donald J. Drumpf
Is M playing dress up again as a widow? She wishes.
What a Wanker .
My son in law flew this morning from Hartford to San Francisco on business. He wrote the following on FB:
Longest and farthest business trip yet… Hope all goes well. Very sombering to start the day in a hustling bustling airport with a moment of silence for 9/11. Thousands of people and you could have heard a pin drop. #respect #neverforget
Emphasis mine.
As far as 45 is concerned, I’m waiting for him to conflate 9/11 with Latinos and illegal voting.
Contemplates.
Rodan’s “The Thimker”
Was he looking in the mirror at the time?
"horrible, horrible enemies, enemies like we have never seen before,” “very large earth”
Far as I can see, all the rest was written by somebody else.
OK, I can buy that he hand-wrote “test our meddle*” on the copy he was handed.
At first I thought he was talking about Gorka’s lavalier.
Then I remembered that in some countries we have indeed opted for a heavy meddle.
I can give Trump a C+ on his comments. At least he didn’t mention the dancing Muslims in NJ.

“test our meddle*”[/quote]
I was hoping that was a transcription error unless DT threw in an impromptu comment on the Kobach Kommission.
And while we’re criticizing the person with the best words, how does one “insight fear?”

In any case, at this point we can see that 9/11’s place in the American story ended up being almost the opposite of Pearl Harbor’s. The first day of infamy brought the country together and showed our fundamental strength. The second tore us further apart, and highlighted our political decay.
And I’ll leave it at that.
Also known as The Shock Doctrine, an excellent read.
I was going to turn the TV off once he started talking…but I decided I have a duty to keep an eye on this, our ultimate “evil.” He stumbled and mispronounced his way through someone else’s words in such a stilted way. No real compassion or caring.
Lord, I miss my REAL President. Barack Obama, a man of eloquence and grace.
A day of mourning just got sadder.
I look at her tagging along mutely with her glued on hair and expressionless face, and I see an old man accompanying a woman who could be his daughter. OTOH I’m reading Lolita, a special love story about a father and his tender feelings for his daughter.
Not that I would EVER support or offer excuse for trump…but …I believe it is “incite fear,” which you can do. In fact, I think it is one of main planks of the Republican Party’s platform.
Title should really say that Trump “briefly contemplates” because his attention span is only as long as his meds are at full dosage. But most important, there’s no deep thought, no caring or remorse and lets be real, Trump barely has an understanding of the events that happened or caused 9/11, he’s a washed up grifter who’s so far out of his depth other people and the news (see the NYT and other’s Trump is now deal making with Democrats coverage) are propping up his Presidency for him, to the detriment of the rest of the country.
Well, it could be “Death in Venice”

Maybe it’s relevant at that:
“We had been everywhere. We had really seen nothing. And I catch myself thinking today that our long journey had only defiled with a sinuous trail of slime the lovely, trustful, dreamy, enormous country that by then, in retrospect, was no more to us than a collection of dog-eared maps, ruined tour books, old tires, and her sobs in the night — every night, every night — the moment I feigned sleep.”
