Discussion: Okla. Court: Capitol Must Remove Ten Commandments Monument

I think that has already begun!

If Fox News lacked a topic for this evening this is a horse they can surely flog for 2-3 hours. It might be dead in the first 10 minutes but they’ll still flog away for the 2-3 hours anyway.

Good. It is offensive on state grounds.

Heartbroken with decision, was looking forward to tasteful statue of the Flying Spaghetti Monster between the ten commandments and Bhudda.

They ought to check out #10

Or mistaken for a legislators’ significant others . . .

That does it! The downfall of the Confederate flag, the preservation of ACA federal subsidies, expansion of gay marriage rights, reaffirmed voting rights, resurrected abortion clinics, reduced gerrymandering, mandatory vaccinations, and now this.

The “end of times” is definitely upon us. Thanks Obama.

“Quite simply, the Oklahoma Supreme Court got it wrong,” Pruitt said. “The court completely ignored the profound historical impact of the Ten Commandments on the foundation of Western law.”

I imagine the conversation would go like this:

Me: “That seems like a violation of the first amendment.”
Pruitt: “No, it has nothing to do with religion. The display is about the foundational history of Western law.”
Me: “OK, so who wrote those ten commandments?”
Pruitt: “God, of course.”
Me: “That seems about as Christian as it gets. F*ck off.”
