they weren’t really suspending people before Junior’s Twitter meltdown and seeing how a) he won’t be apologizing and b) she was at best ‘tone deaf’ in this situation, the campaign will just monitor the fallout and hope nothing weird or terrible happens between now and say the first.
the only way she was getting sacked was she was found to be stealing from the campaign.
now there should be a Clinton television ad that uses this clip, but aside from that…welcome to 2016.

This is what kills me every time, and it’s the dead giveaway to racist views. There are some people (like Paul Ryan) who really believe that, white or black, if you are in economic pain it’s because you aren’t one of Ayn Rand’s elect and you don’t deserve anything else. But there are lots and lots of people who look at white problems as being the result of external forces, no fault of their own. And they can look at the very SAME problems for black people and attribute them to personal failure. Drug abuse is exhibit A – when it was perceived as a problem for blacks, “Just say no” and long prison terms was the answer (their own goddamned fault for using or selling drugs) but now that it’s a white problem – it’s doctors or pharmaceutical manufacturers or drug dealers – in short, a policy failure. Maybe if they had attacked the policy failure a generation ago the problem would not have metastasized to kill so many of their children. I hate people like this.
