I like it… two more Democratic Senators.

“We’re talking about survival. We’re talking about physical reality. We’re talking about a situation that is totally real,” Harris told TPM.

Well, you won’t get any sympathy from Ted “Galileo” Cruz with that kind of attitude, pal.

We can call it the State of Corona.

Slightly OT, but I heard a talking head on Last Word say she didn’t want to see HRC “coronated”, is this what she meant, no beer for Hillary?

Yeah but it will never happen. No way Tallahassee is giving up that tax base, come hell or hi…well, maybe in the case of high water.

Maybe just rename Miami to Atlantis.

Buh-bye!

Well, this is one secession movement I could get behind and support.

Nah, this has happened from time to time, to no effect.

Whenever the Legislature approves a budget that screws South Florida and ignores their funding priorities, the locals call for forming their own state.

Residents of the Keys have also called for the formation of the “Conch Republic.”

These things never go anywhere.

I’ve been hearing that word for several months wrt HRC.

“We’re talking about physical reality. We’re talking about a situation that is totally real,” Harris told TPM.

Dear Mr Harris,

What is this “reality” of which you speak?

Sincerely, the GOP

In fairness, it’s one I threw around myself, with considerable, um, vehemence, in 2008.

Brilliant, Sir (or Madam, but with a name like CrackerJack, I’m guessing Sir).

About whose coronation were you vehement?

South Florida has more to fear from brain challenged climate change deniers in positions of authority than from enhanced rainfall and moving air events.

Well, it’s possible that in the heat of the passions created by the early, pre-primary months of the 2008 primary, I may, just possibly, have responded to what I, no doubt incorrectly, perceived as a certain degree of resentful, yet presumptuous entitlement on the part of some of Hillary’s supporters with comments that somewhat disdainfully combined the words “coronation” and “Hillary” in the same sentence. Indeed, it’s possible that I made such comments right here at TPM.

Can’t quite recall, of course. There are one or two others still commenting here who were here in those days who might likewise have some vague recollection of that kind of thing. Or not.

Silly rabbit, it is only real if you have a word or phrase for it. If you don’t talk about it, it isn’t real.
