Trump will donate profits made from business dealings with foreign governments to the U.S. Treasury.
I’m very confident that Trump’s accountants can generate financial statements that show a net operating loss for his DC Hotel and he will then bill the Treasury for the shortfall. Profit sharing is a two way street.

How much you want to bet that since he got elected President, he and his spawn will insist on something huge, like Grant’s Tomb, or Napoleon Bonaparte’s mausoleum monument. It will become a shrine for resentful white folks from all over the country, and Alt Right, John Birchers, Fallwelites, NRA fanatics etc. And Russkie spooks, who will quietly keep the floral arrangements fresh at all times.

“and donate profits made from business dealings with foreign governments to the U.S. Treasury.” This reminds me of a story I read on Jezebel, if I remember correctly, about one Trump’s tenants: an old woman who he, out of the kindness of his heart, allowed to stay in her apartment for something like $500.00, for the rest of her natural life, well below market value. Fake news, I’m guessing. Anyhow, it’s analogous because whenever he claims he’ll do something even remotely ethical and sorta altruistic, it ends up being bullshit, something put out there for public relations.

There is a reason that “norms” have been established and adhered to for decades with regards to presidential (elected representatives in general?) conduct and disclosure. Obama was not met with this ridicule and disbelief, neither were any of the other six presidents inaugurated since my birth, but that is because each and every one of them adhered to the accepted norms of presidential behavior (some more closely than others, but compared to this doofus we can just call it 100% adherence for all of them, even Nixon).
There is a difference between the entertainment world that lyin’ donnie has been a part of and the world of government that lyin’ donnie has now entered. The behavior boundaries that the two must abide by are wholly different, with entertainers typically more easily getting away with grabbing pussy than say a Senator, or President. Lyin’ donnie is accustomed to the former, and clearly becoming uncomfortable beginning to be held to the standards of the later.
I have been telling those around me that a job like POTUS is for freaks only. It takes decades to prepare oneself for the POTUS job, starting with the education one pursues, to the career track taken, to the contacts made, and of course, personal behavior. Lyin’ donnie possesses none of this, and is therefor fully unqualified for the job on that basis alone, we are not even getting into the conflict of interest portion of this catastrophe.
This will be a strenuous test for American democracy. Sure seems like the Rs are going to go for it. Maybe because they know what they have wrought and what the near future holds for them demographically.
