“Okay. Doctor’s in the house.”
He is sooo cool.
Yeah he is. This reminds me a little bit of a story in the news in Italy yesterday. The former first lady, Agnese Renzi, helped a motorcyclist who was hurt in a crash on the highway. The picture was the best - Agnese was wearing jeans and red heels that had to be 5 inches high = she looked incredible getting out of her car to go help. So Italian.
So cool.
I’m going to miss her and Renzi. They were pretty close to the Obamas.
Now imagine Doctor Bornstein as White House Doctor.
What a good guy.
His anticipated successor would have made fun of the person.
Imagine Trump’s 3:00 am Twitrum because she took attention away from him.
This mindful, caring man is the one they have treated like the devil incarnate and replaced with the most unstable, dangerous, uncaring man to ever have power in our country. Our country is sick to the soul.
Yeah, that was just democracy fading away.
Unfortunately, the doctor won’t be in the house for much longer.
The right thing to do would have been for the President to point to a a specific person and say- “YOU - go get the doctor - door after the map room”. First thing they teach you n CPR training is not to say “someone”. If you say “someone” no one knows who’s going to do it.
“What a loser back there! Get her outta here! Outta here!”
I’ve said this about 100 times already - I AM GOING TO MISS OBAMA!!!
(And those who are nitpicking at him now are going to miss his thoughtfulness once they experience a few months of He Who I Will Not Name.)
You may be right but it appears no one is willing to give this President a break on anything. Maybe he actually hasn’t had recent CPR training.
Isn’t that special .
Really? (sigh)
True. After 1/20/17 they’ll have a prayer vigil instead.
I rather suspect that when the President of the United States says “someone do something” there is a designated duty “someone” to see that his every whim is satisfied.
Adding, “You see, I am making America great again. This is just like the good old days. We’re gonna carry her out on a stretcher. Yeah, carry her out on a stretcher. Then we’re gonna lock her up.” [wink]
Good thing Dr. Ben Carson was not there given his behavior throughout the campaign.
No, he did what he needed to do, and no additional clarification was necessary. He has any number of aides to implement his orders, and it is not his job to figure out which of them is on point. The article says that the doctor came in within “a few minutes”. Clearly they implemented his orders properly and promptly. Maybe you are correct in “general” terms under “typical” circumstances, but when the President of the United States gives an order in the White House to “get Dr. Jackson”, then nothing more needs be said.
I will miss President Obama.
Commenters disagreeing with you are ignoring the obvious fact that his initial call for assistance went unanswered, clearly for the reasons that you have indicated,
