This could be the worst of all worlds for Republicans. Theyâve already deeply angered their base by not repealing the ACA. Now theyâre pissing off everyone who has grown to like it and depend on it by allowing double digit rate increases for no reason other than their own malfeasance.

Lamar Alexander is doing his job make sure they donât come to with any agreement. They been doing it for many years and then blame the other person for not working with them. Itâs a well work out strategy that prove affectives. This statement show how serious Alexander is. "Asked if Senate Republican leadership is encouraging him to continue the negotiations, Alexander laughed. âIâm telling them that I am continuing the talks,â he quipped. âMy hope would be that they would want to put it on the floor.â
Alexander know that it not going anywhere.
Repubs. party is killing American people whether itâs through blocking gun legislation or sabotage American health system or deregulating water, air and food regulation. All the while selling off federal land. While lining their pockets and given lip service dripping with lies.

Why does it seem that the goal of Republican policies is to cause pain and suffering on the most vulnerable in our society to enable tax breaks to those who donât need them?
So why donât you ask Patty Murray about whatâs going on in those discussions. We know that she will tell the truth.
If you read my post I am NOT blaming the Framers. It was their clear intent that the Senate be a body where all the issues could be debated, not only the ones a small clique chooses to have debated but all issues that involve the nation. Any member of any party, majority or minority should have the ability to have a bill considered. If necessary to prevent abuse, then limit each member to some maximum number of bills/session. But the idea that a few âleadersâ can deny a bill a hearing and a vote is offensive to the spirit of democracy.

They were hitting up businesses with 20+% increase last year when everything was fine.
