I wonder how the protestors are going to take this, because it seems like he’s criticizing them for trying to shut down Trump’s speeches. I’m not sure I disagree with the president on this…the protests may possibly be twisted into “those people” attacking Trump supporters and become an excuse for violence against “those people”. We’re already seeing that kind of rhetoric from Trump and his supporters, and it’s getting worse with each protest…and the guy rushing the stage just fed into it.
Don’t get me wrong, Trump is saying horrible things (and I’m just shocked at the open hatred from the audiences at those speeches), and it would be much better if that all went away. I’m just not sure protesting is the right way to go about it though…Trump speaking, and letting the racists speak for him, might be a better way to expose the racism and deal with it.
But…But… A day without the Davey is like a day without sunshine ! ! —

My posts seem to go through in spite of the constant errors (I go back to the news page and then the comments to confirm it’s there). It really needs to be fixed though…TPM’s comment systems have always been screwy.

I’m looking forward to all the placeholder headlines and HTML where it doesn’t belong.
I get the same “body too similar” as everyone else, got logged off twice yesterday ( first time for that) but have not had any posts eaten. Today the page rendering is screwed up in new and exciting ways.

Except that now he will be blamed for everything trump has asked for at his recent rallies. You watch. The leadership Obama gives as a very very adult and competent President will be twisted into his being a weak kneed ineffectual tyrannical dictator…You watch.
