Let’s talk about what’s going on here. Trump is running to make money for himself. PERIOD.

The President also totally took down that reporter who was shilling big-time for the GOP by asking and phrasing that question as she did. He showed she had not down an ounce of research but simply regurgitated what the Drumpf campaign essentially told her. A complete slam dunk for the President.
So I’ll tell you what:
The U.S. routinely sends in monitors to countries having difficulties putting up legitimate elections.
So why not bring the Swiss in, with their reputation for impartiality and neutrality, have them come in and monitor our electon?
After all, if DT believes and the GOP believe that we have become a third world country country with respect to election fairness, then this should pretty well dispel any lack of integrity in the process.
Maybe I’m showing my age, but why does ANYONE think that elections haven’t been rigged to varying degrees over the years?
From gerrymandering to voter suppression to poll taxes to Citizens United to ballot box stuffing to hanging chads to GOP’ers telling minority voter’s the wrong election day, etc. etc.
Some are just rigged more than others.

Trump’s logic is impeccable.
Anything which contradicts his view of things is, by definition, wrong so there must be another explanation no matter how bizarre.

The charges he’s making are very serious and strike at the heart of our democracy, which is why the President had to respond. We can’t have his supporters tearing down the country when he loses.

I’ll go along with a lot of that, but… ballot stuffing? Time for a thought experiment: How many “extra” ballots would you have to cast in a precinct to change the results? And if it’s anything other than a purely local election, how many precincts would you need to monkey with? Now, how many people would you need to carry this out, each of them facing a pretty hefty fine plus jail time?
IIRC, even the “dead people in Chicago” meme of old was debunked. Gerrymandering and voter suppression and even dirty tricks, sure. Those require relatively few people, and there aren’t personal legal sanctions involved.
