Congressional Republicans disagree.
Conservatives do not believe Congress should do anything to impede the production and sale of guns. They want to continue living like this.

The presidentâs point was way too deep for Fox viewers, the lowest common denominator who donât get nuance and subtlety. They probably responded with Hah! The ni__er said âni__er.â Nor would they have understood the irony after having said it.

They donât even want to produce SAFER guns that would keep small children from shooting small children. So they sure as hell donât give a damn about the adult death toll.
