What an awful evening there in Paris. To our friends in Paris and all of France, you are in my thoughts tonight. I hope your authorities can put a quick end to the terror attacks and apprehend those responsible.

Indeed. Friday the 13th no less, which has its origins in France when the French monarch seized the Knights Templarā€™s assets and executed many of them in horrific fashion.

Has Romney jumped in to complain yet because Obama called these events terrorist acts instead of acts of terror?

The real terror for the United States is that this might convince people to vote for Ted Cruz. You can count on him exploiting this.

I think generic statements of ā€œoutrageā€ regarding terrorism are just ā€œtiredā€ at this pointā€¦ just like the ā€œtiredā€ statements after every gun massacre.

I think itā€™s time we chem trail a bunch of ecstasy over the entire European continent. All the bombs in the world wonā€™t squash religious fanaticism, but I guarantee that if every ISIS member was on a high dose ecstasy for about 60 days straight, things would change.

Conservative ā€œpunditsā€ pass along their compassionate remarks, while hostages were waiting to die and dead bodies were still warm and bleeding:

At least 100 dead in the music venue. God knows how many in the others. I hope this is all a bad dream.

Iā€™ve heard 145 with many more yet to be counted.

EDIT: For what itā€™s worth, Rachel Maddow just reported the estimated death toll at 120, which, she said, may either ā€œrise or fall,ā€ which pretty much covers all the possibilities.

And, as though this werenā€™t enough for a Friday the 13th, there has been a 7.0 earthquake off the southwestern coast of Japan that triggered a small tsunami.

Someone up there is taking this date way too seriously.

Heā€™ll have to wait his turn, after Trump, JEB!, etc. are done polluting the airwaves.

Obama wonā€™t call the #Paris #terror attacks ā€œIslamistā€ but was perfectly willing to politicize #Umpqua when barely over & cause uncertain

I donā€™t know about Romney, but a large number of Republicans have already groused that --though the President used the words, ā€œterrorism,ā€ ā€œterrorizeā€ and ā€œattackā€-- he didnā€™t call it an act by ā€œIslamists.ā€ Others blamed the whole thing on --wait for it:-- Black Lives Matter.

Not sure which word or term he should or shouldnā€™t use but when he says ā€˜An Outrageous Attempt To Terrorize Innocent Civiliansā€™ he might want to rethink those words as he has been responsible for doing the same thing in 6 Muslim countries these past 7 years.

I know, itā€™s different, he didnā€™t mean it. Tell it to those victims and their families. The Drone King doesnā€™t get or deserve a pass even if everyone here thinks heā€™s the greatest.
