And the Republicans certainly want to honor our military men and women with their usual tribute:

“Thank you for your service…now, fu*k off!”

Republicans love the soldier, corporate military machines and all weapons programs, but they hate the veteran and any program designed to help him. To Repigs, he really just wants ‘free stuff’ and hand outs.

Sadly, if you read this same story on Yahoo! and read the comments, they will say that Obama is only visiting the troops for show and lying about his respect for them while wasting the taxpayers’ money for SIXTEEN DAYS in Hawaii.

You really don’t want to read comment boards. The anonymity and invisibility brings out the worst of the haters and troglodytes. But maybe if Obama announced he was going to meet up with dubya and cut brush at the faux ranch in East Jesus TX, they wouldn’t see it as squandering taxpayer dollars.
