Okay, Barack!!
Laughter plus exactly the right words (“uninformed”, “outright wacky”) to burrow directly under that very thin, cheeto-colored skin!
Incoming tweet storm from Mr. “I’m rubber, you’re glue” Trump expected in 5…4…3…2…
ETA: I think our Pres is going to have lots of fun on Trump’s account over the next few weeks!
“As far as Mr. Trump, I think I’ve already offered my opinion,” Obama said. "I don’t think the guy’s qualified to be president of the United States. Every time he speaks that opinion is confirmed.”
As a great man once said (maybe about Trump): “Farting is the only way an asshole can speak.”
Wow wow wow. Expressing offhand disdain, like you really and truly couldn’t be bothered to care, could be an Olympic sport if more people practiced it at this level.
Yep, Obama is world class, gold medal in this.
And …
Cue national press stories about how there’s never been a sitting President who so disdained a possible successor from the other party, and about … oh, hell, I don’t know what.
Watching the President and Drumpf–Its like watching a debate between Nels Bohr and Michelle Bachman on String theory; one understands that it can lead to profound insights into the nature of the universe, the other thinks its a cat toy.
A-f**king-men!
Imma gonna steal this from you!!
It would be nice if the video included the president actually “cracking up”. Just sayin’…
“As far as Mr. Trump, I think I’ve already offered my opinion,” Obama said. "I don’t think the guy’s qualified to be president of the United States. Every time he speaks that opinion is confirmed.”
Well stated, Mr. President. Well said.
The contrast between the President speaking and Drumpf blathering could not be more stark. I can listen to Obama for an hour (even when I don’t have the time); rarely can I tolerate more than thirty seconds or so of the orange shitgibbon’s yammering.
My one criticism of these comments from Mister Obama is that he might have added just a bit more emphasis to ‘the press’ in his suggestion to “listen to what he says”. I hope they heard that subtle dig, but I ain’t holding my breath.
Oh, but Mara Liasson thinks no one is interested in policy and that all Trump has to do is frame his idiocy in terms of a plan and then people will vote for him over that nasty woman.
And that Clinton is actually an incumbent looking for a third term.
Mara. What a waste.
Obama can do more to help Hillary. If he doesn’t devote full energy to defeating Trump, everything good he accomplished will be undone. He needs to stop being so NICE.
OMFG!!! Instant Classic!!
Brilliant! Really wish this could be said on a national stage/event.
They just don’t care. It’s all about “eyeballs”.
Mara Liasson should keep her Fox gig and maybe hopefully possibly conceivably NPR could replace her Heather with a halfway competent reporter.
“At the final press conference Obama held at the the Association of Southeast Asian Nations’ summit, he was asked if he wanted to “defend” his legacy from Trump’s criticism.”
The president was asked to “defend his legacy” as opposed to the media questioning Trump about his criticism in the first place instead of acting like sheep. Another classic case of the media gladly taking whatever Trump spews and diligently running to the president to shill for him with a spoon-fed question. Just as they did at the last Presidential press conference re: “rigged elections”. Media mantra: “Always accept the GOPers point and always use it to attack the Democrats! Always!”
I’m really gonna miss this man…
