Do you really believe anyone who’s part of ISIS will turn their backs on the group because of what happened or what’s happening?
The very fact that they joined the group means they share the same view of ISIS.
I think his statement was more aimed at young Muslims who would consider joining such an organization. Remember Muslim terrorists use religion as a recruiting tool (common practice) and it works. Telling these younger Muslims that Islam does NOT favor such actions is definitely a smart move, as opposed to the Republican strategy of “your religion sucks”, which has the opposite effect on young Muslims.

Yeah, right, Mr. President! That’s why we give billions of US armaments to Saudi Arabia that beheads newsmen as a matter of course if they DARE criticize the king of Saudi Arabia. And who also gave ISIS its financial start by underwriting its terrorism in Syria. Sorry, Mr. President, you can’t have it both ways. If ISIS is a terrorist group then so is Saudi Arabia. And don’t tell me that when ISIS was terrorizing Syria but was ostensibly one of the “rebel” groups you gave aid to, then how are they a bunch of terrorists now but aren’t when they are doing the exact same thing in Syria, but you don’t like Basher al-Assad so it’s OK to do it there.
For those of us who enjoy watching evil fucks get blown to bits of flesh and vapor, and I include myself in this group, prepare to be entertained.

I agree. It’s obvious ISIS is trying to bait Obama. ISIS is becoming PR adept more than any terrorist organization. ISIS is an enemy to USA, Russia and Iran. Right now all 3 can agree on one thing. Opposition to ISIS. With that fact ISIS only has soo many moves. If ISIS were to try a 911 type attack on US soil. ISIS will be finished in the future.

That is the point Mr.Obama, there is no just God, there is no proof there is a God. Religion is a hoax to compel people to act/do whatever the “leader” the time wants them to do and believe. A closer look at the evil done in the name of religion or “god” surely should convince the people that we are dealing with a mythology of the greatest deceptions.
Besides the ISIS and muslims don’t believe in “your god” that is the whole point of the hatred. Never have Christians acknowledged that other cultures are just that other cultures and may actually have other beliefs.
I doubt that ISIS troops will ever hear the President’s words.
So what’s not to like?
This blood-feud-revenge response long predates the Middle Ages; it goes back at least to the Stone Ages, or perhaps even earlier. It’s one expression of a human meme that personal safety depends on our group’s security.
You’re right however, that reading such a naked expression of blood lust as an editorial in the NY Daily News is shocking. In the NY Post, perhaps not so much.
