Once the laws change I donā€™t think youā€™ll have to wait long. Thereā€™ve been U.S. citizens traveling to Cuba for educational and other purposes for decades. Iā€™d bet dinner and a night bopping around the music clubs in Havana and then a fishing trip the next day that the cruise lines have everything planned and ready to go as soon as itā€™s legal.

One of the very few reasons Iā€™d enjoy seeing Cruz get the nomination would be to watch him tie himself in knots over this move by Obama. Now that itā€™s clear that the normalization of relations has the overwhelming support of the average Cuban (as if there was any doubt anyhowā€¦), Cruz would alienate the very people he claims cultural allegiance to if he advocated breaking off relations again. And if he accepts the normalization by the tyrant Obama, heā€™ll piss off the remaining and aging remnants of the anti-Castro Cuban exile community in Miami.
