I did see a cop beat someone off another person in that NPR VOA video. But I guess the problem was that there were so few protestors that the cops weren’t ready. There were literally like 10 people protesting across the street from the embassy, then the President’s entourage enters the area and 100’s of men swarm the protestors. The thugs took the cops totally by surprise, it looks like. And I think a lot of those cops in the video were called to the scene after the Turks got so violent.

No, it is not a victimless crime. Minors receiving these pics are victimized. That said, it is a damn shame that Weiner would not admit he had a problem and get treatment. He squandered great talent and promise.

I feel bad for his family. I feel worse for the country. Somehow, some pro-trumpers in the FBI got hold of this computer and identified a way to exploit it to hurt HRC and did so with near perfect timing to impact the election. That’s one of the stories that Comey started investigating, and that’s one key spoke in this wheel of treason that I want to better understand.
As for Weiner himself, he crossed a line when he started texting minors. However, having seen jails as an intern at a pubic defender’s office many years ago, I don’t like seeing nonviolent folks in jail (I’m for CJ reform). I think rehab is better. That said, can’t argue with at least some jail time for this. He’s a douche, but I also believe he has an illness. No rational human being with a career as promising as his was would do something like this but for an illness. It’s a sad story.

It’s the right food if it doesn’t have a drippy sauce and you can use your fingers to pick up or break off a bite-size piece to eat. Then you lead the cameras over to the really cute kids your handlers spotted, give the kids the rest of the food, and pose surrounded by cute, happy faces.

As bad as that looks, many other popular (or not) fair foods I encountered on the google seemed far less appetizing – and I’m not even talking about the fried lamb testicles from the Minnesota State Fair. Those resembled actual food, and I might enjoy a serving of them if you could avoid triggering a strong cultural reaction to eating testes. Northern Plains Oysters, anyone?
