Discussion: NYT: Scott Walker To Drop Out Of 2016 GOP Race

To prove I’m an equal opportunity potty mouth: Scott Walker. What a munt.

Was reading that Kasick is tapped out. He’s my bet but the Koch Bros are w/o a horse (donkey didn’t work) now and need a candidate. So much money so little time. Phone lines are burrring up! Let the begging begin.

You, Chuck and Dave.

L. Graham. Even GOP voters in SC want him to quit.

Yep. Its never fun when drunk dad comes home after losing his paycheck on a bet.

Trump has been an amazing help for the Democrats. I don’t think we can discount the intensity of the negative effect Trump has had on the GOP. I think he is almost solely responsible for knocking out both Perry and now Walker. I suspect his candidacy has destroyed Rand Paul’s chances as well, and he’s done untold damage to Jeb!.

The three candidates who have at all benefited from Trump’s candidacy are Cruz, Fiorina, and Carson. Cruz stands to inherit Trump’s base of voters, Fiorina rose in the polls largely because she attacked Trump and he attacked her back, and Carson benefits because his “seemingly nice guy saying horrible things” routine makes him a good alternative to Trump. Unfortunately for the GOP, none of these three candidates stand a chance in the general election.

Really? You think Uncle Ben is not long for the hook? I was under the impression he could be milked until about mid January 2016…

In a weird way, I wonder if Christie has been waiting for and hoping the feds come out swinging with whatever they have (to date) so he can garner a huge amount of free media attention … something that might, just might bring a little blood and air to his nearly dead corpse of a candidacy.

No doubt, if you haven’t read it already you should take a look at this profile on the Texas billionaire brothers no one has ever heard of backing Ted Cruz.

@PluckyInKY: Question for you?

Do you think Senator Paul will be reelected? How are his chances?

I’m going with Jindal too, but would not be surprised if Graham goes. Not sure who or how he is funding his run this far. I’m assuming Santorum still has his sugar daddy so he has no reason to go anywhere.

I guess his investors pulled out?

Who are the Kochs to back now?

Now remember, Scotty, a noose is cheaper, but a bullet is far more dramatic.

What this shows is how criminally bad the GOP-fluffing Wisconsin media are. I knew he was going to face plant without the compliant stenographers in WI to prop him up.

Thanks! I fixed it per your action.

Oh, that’s right!! Frothy is still there too, idn’t he? I’d forgot all bout him…

I was a bit worried about Kasich but I also thought Huntsman was a reasonable. guy. I’m not very good at picking the Republican nominee.
