Discussion: NYT Reports That These Officials Are (Maybe) In Trump's Crosshairs

Is it truer that if Pruitt is moved to AG that he wouldn’t need confirmation because he’s already been confirmed?

Here’s hoping that - like the mythical Foo Bird - this administration quickly disappears up it’s own asshole.

Perhaps it would be easier if the media would just tell us who’s staying?

Maybe Rachel Maddow could winnow her Big Board by, instead, listing those who’ve stayed the course for the entire term to date?

Maybe?? WTF? Palace Intrigue Edition. When did the NYT become the National Enquirer? I can’t stand this shit. I’m starting to feel burned out from trying to keep up.

I think he still would need to be confirmed for the new position. Aren’t they planning to have confirmation hearings for Pompey?

So Mattis safe because he ā€œlooks the partā€ of a military man.
What about the fact that the Orange Orifice currently occupying the Oval Office, from which this garbage is emitted, looks about as much the part of a President as … well, as an orange orifice from which garbage is emitted?

Despite his defiance on Trump’s wishes to ban transgender people from the military, the Times wrote, Mattis is safe ā€œin part because he is a general who in Mr. Trump’s mind ā€˜looks the part’ of a military leader.ā€

The depths of his stupidity never fail to shock me.

And if the Foo shits, wear it!

That’s the only downside to seeing all the clowns, assholes, and grifters go.

And I’d say that this was part of donnie’s plan if this same article didn’t note how he’s not going to fire Mattis because Mattis looks like a general. Anyone who’d admit such a thing, nevermind actually beleive it, can’t possibly have a plan for, well, anything.

ā€œā€¦ Mattis is safe ā€œin part because he is a general who in Mr. Trump’s mind ā€˜looks the part’ of a military leader.ā€

So, we can anticipate Trump’s digging up and nominating Idi Amin Dada, Ngyuen Cao Ki and Francisco Franco to fill the soon to vacant cabinet posts?

WaPo says McMaster is out, or nearly out. With John Bolton on the short list to replace him.

God help us all.

It’s not even Friday yet and National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster is out!!
Make sure you get some Military Bulldozers in that parade Asshole!

Wouldn’t it be great if he had a Friday Night Massacre?

I mean, fire them all, of at least 5-7, all at one time, with his silly smile on his face. Further cementing his legacy as a total lunatic, implusive to the extreme, mad, vindictive, upset, stir-crazy and more.

What I like it that by all these rapid hirings and dismissals, nothing gets done. And that is a damn good thing. Further, it feezes many more qualified folks form even thinking about joining this rapidly sinking ship. Finally, it ends up driving Trumpyboy even more nuts than he already is, as the Russiagate investigation keeps closing in like a slowly tightening noose!

God, I love it!

McMaster’s out, apparently.

Has anyone told him?

I assume he reads WAPO.

The question is whether Bolton would shave his mustache. That seems to be the thing that kept Trump from nominating him initially.

Better to work for Trump, or to have worked for George Steinbrenner, former owner of the NY Yankees? They seem to have had the same priorities, and Steinbrenner had Don Mattingly, one of the great players in Yankees history, benched because he wouldn’t get a haircut. And, of course, Trump acts like the owner of the US government, not an employee of the people.

Just because the idiot is called ā€œthe bossā€.

In other words, corporate culture must be conservative, because each company is like a fief that can be run in any way the little king likes.

There’s no voting. The system is rigged.
