In an open society and democracy, this wouldn’t be a credible criticism, even if Donnie hadn’t pushed for and supported the revelation of the secret details of ongoing criminal and counter-intelligence investigations.
At some point, I’d think he and his supporters words could largely be indexed as ‘hypocrisy (double standard)’ and we could be saved from having to spend the energy reacting to another affront to our sense and dignity.
Their departure can’t come too soon.

No, some of them can and will be different after this. Whether or not it’s for the better remains to be seen. But Trump is beyond that, for sure.

What with tRump’s need for a lot of “executive time” he’s probably getting preemptively cranky to pace himself for next week.

Our so-called president is “proud” of his efforts to spread the term and the idea of “fake news” I trust that he is equally proud of his role in destroying the fabric of truth and reality, essential to the survival of a free democratic republic, in America. This campaign of Trump’s against a free press is an existential threat to American freedom and democracy. Everyday, Trumps statements and behavior give the lie to the oath he took on his inauguration. This clearly falls into the category of “high crimes and misdemeanors” and well deserves to be treated as such. The future of our great nation, and perhaps the world is at stake with this madman at the helm. He needs to be removed from office before the damage he is doing become irreversible…

No I do not think Pence would be any kind of improvement over trump but it is what we’re left with until the term runs out. It’s obvious to me that trump is a clear and present danger to our continued existence as “America” in any kind of form that I could recognize or give my allegiance to as I have done in the past. trump is destroying what I value of our beliefs and traditions.
