Thought you liked accuracy! That’s exactly accurate!
I’ll hafta consult with Mrs darr…she was a Goodfellas fan
( quickly checks pocket folding money)
I don’t think Jeb has lost the all-important money primary just yet. The Kochs aren’t the only multi-billionaires with way more money than they know what to do with. Some of them have already placed their bets on Bush, and there’s still plenty of them who haven’t decided yet which candidate they want to buy.
I agree; I was just being snarky. The GOP seems to have an endless array of multi-billionaires waiting to throw money away.
The Koch Brothers have publicly acknowledged that they have Scott Walker on retainer as their favorite cheap wh0re.
Tell us something we didn’t already know.
Ain’t that the truth? Union buster gets the Kock support. Who would have thunk it?
I dunno. The Kochs got big money, but the Bushies have the military part of the Great American Military-Industrial Machine, the war machinery makers, the merchants of death, all that bunch making out like bandits in the Middle East, the aerospace industry, the big telcos & ISPs, “security” companies …
I think it’s a lot closer fight than you’re recognizing.
Here’s a think:
If the Kochs could control all this from the INSIDE,
why would they even bother making a public splash pleading to other Big Money interests to funnel their bucks to their boy over the Bush boy? The Kochs don’t act like that; they do their pleading thru agents and their cajoling behind doors closed to we the unwashed.
To me, it makes more sense the Kochs are concerned their little project boy is losing polling points with the arrival of each new nut in from each remote wing.
And meanwhile, no one’s yet done Jack Squat to eat into Jebya’s paltry yet nonetheless leading 1:5 GOP support.
And what’s still incoming?
Carson.
Carly.
Santorum.
Arkansas former gov & Foxface Huckabee.
NJ Gov Fats McBridgbuttment.
Texas Gov Dumrick Goodhair
Louisiana Gov Kenneth.
Ohio Gov Kasich (Maybe I think not; he’s a creature of BushCo, so if Jebya’s in, it’s for kabuki.).
Indiana Gov Miike Hammerbrains (Who can say not, with someone that stunned?).
Certain ‘types’ of customers can make sure he’d gander right down the middle.
Will work well for his convention speech also, looking straight ahead and still having that panoramic view. But you’re right, have you ever seen anyone so not photggenic. The camera definitely doesn’t love him and if he ever gave the voters his closeup he might scare the little kids watching. I mean, he doesn’t look stoned, angry, sad, excited, whatever.
I have seen that look before, somewhere … maybe the early days after downing a handful of mothers little helpers. Either way, for me he looks and acts like a dunce.
The Oligarchs have spoken.
They have anointed Gov. Walker as their stooge.
The rest of you clowns can pack up your revival tents and go home.
And what would Huckabee do without his revival tent. It’s who he is.
“And then when he wins the Presidency, with our help of course, we propose the renaming of the United States into the Grand Republic of Kochistan, of which President Walker will be renamed the All Mighty High Mucky Muck”
Looks like that Kochs need much more bad press.
Of course, they think Americans agree with them. Throw enough money to state and federal legislative candidates, spend more for ads to fleece the ever-decreasing middle class, cut funds to education…
Gin up fear of anyone not like you.
Hopefully, as ever, we’ll survive this. They are definitely pulling out all the stops.
Is that Ernie Kovacs?
Kovacs IMO is up there with Kenny Mars, Larry Miller, Harvey Korman, and Eugene Levy among the truly great artists in the male specialty comic character and supporting banana role.
I’d have to agree. In this day and age one has to look presidential and sound presidential, that gravitas thing people point to. He’s totally lacking it, and other names who are tossed out even on our side must also meet those expectations. Either that or the person Walker is talking to who is not sure of where’s he looking can position himself on one side or another until they figure it out.
You must remember the Nairobi Trio like I do
With his approval ratings in WI less than stellar, why would he possibly be a viable candidate.
Have to wonder how he “managed” to be reelected.
Al Bundy comes to mind.
It doubles as a caftan.
Someday the national media will have to take a trip to Wisconsin and actually report on the disaster that Walker has brought to that state.
Well, it fits with the old saying, “Money talks and bullshit walks.”
I suppose in this case Bullshit Money Walks and Talks.
