no…use to be paying his salary…now he has more time to work for the trump campaign
Is he white?
I Googled at found that he is in fact black. This does NOT imply any generalizations!
Megyn Kelly wants to know: “Was her response of fleeing the dangerous asshole ‘appropriate?’”
We are walking down a very, very dangerous path, and the response by our leaders on both sides has been underwhelming. Everyone who cares about America has to condemn, in the strongest terms possible, this kind of racism and hatred.
Why did she run away if her god is so much better that the USA’s god?
That is the question O’Reilly or Hannity might ask. Megyn just wants to know if her response was “appropriate.”
Not this guy.
Jamaican, and, if one report is correct, possibly suffering some mental issues in addition to any religious or racial bigotry:
Back in April, cops showed up at his Canarsie home and treated him as an
emotionally disturbed person after he began drinking heavily and
claimed to hear voices, police sources said.
Describing him as a postal worker is kind of a red herring here. The incident took place at 8:00 on a Friday night; he would almost certainly have been off-duty and out of uniform by that point. The subsequent arrest days later took place during his work hours, explaining why he was in uniform when taken into custody. But his being a postal worker is irrelevant here, except for giving people yet another opportunity to make jokes about “going postal”. (Ha. Ha. Ha.)
I’m not sure what BrendanM, upcomments, means by describing him as a “union thug”. Not all Postal Service employees are union members; quite a few don’t join. (A major reason a significant number of postal employees DO join a union is simple self-protection against an employee-hostile management environment, even if union leadership is frequently open to criticism. It’s kinda like a twist on Henny Youngman’s old joke about his wife: “How’s your union?” “Better than nothing.”)
I was a postal employee for 30 years, and most employees were normal folks, with a tendency towards conservative/right-wing attitudes. (A lot of veterans, including folks who’d done their 20 in the military then took retirement, and moved into a second career with USPS.) Some were definitely a little off in the head; during mornings sorting mail for delivery, I worked for a time next to a guy who would talk to the Martians in his head while he sorted mail for his own route. But we were mostly harmless.
I believe going postal is a thing because so many postal workers are veterans, many of whom may have PTSD. Just saying.
“I was a postal employee for 30 years, and most employees were normal folks”
True. I was a floater in the USPS while in college during the holidays and over the summers. So when I read the postal worker was still in uniform on a Friday night at 8 PM I immediately figured he was drunk. That’s the only time I ever saw a postal worker in uniform when he was off his shift, drinking and on his way to drunk. It was a lot of fun back then I might add.
He seems nice.
Perhaps they woke him up from his nap? …People get grumpy when that happens…

What it shows is that being a hysterical, paranoid asshole is not limited to whites, unfortunately.
Chuckles here will get what he deserves from the law. I am not going to get riled up over a couple of spitting and intimidation incidents after the slaughter in Paris. I still do not trust these people as immigrants. If there was a racial aspect then that disturbed me more than the actual acts described, that and the threats of arson.
Dainton Coley, 34, was still wearing his Postal Service uniform when he was led out of a police precinct in handcuffs Tuesday night. He held his head down and said nothing as officers escorted him to a waiting police car.
Current postal employee and management isn’t fond of these types of stories.
You aren’t post office management. Anything that makes the Postal Service look really bad is grounds for dismissal for the perp and excessive safety talks (sheiss. Dammit, there’s going to be a safety talk about the ‘golden rule’ next week.) for the employees who might have not heard about this.
sigh
He’s looking at a ‘sack’ then. Management used to run those ‘don’t drink while in uniform’ posters like crazy. That union rep is in for a rough time.
like that…he’s gone.
nope
he’s still getting paid. He can’t be sacked as if management was tearing up a piece of paper. The union will try to protect his rights up until it becomes clear that he has to take whatever the service is offering to get rid of him.
