Who knows, perhaps history will show that the election of Donald Trump was exactly what this country needed-- a slap in the face (or kick in the nuts, perhaps) to wake us up. Of course, he still might destroy our entire civilization before he’s done, but I have my fingers crossed.

Trump thought that running for President would boost the Trump and Kushner family brands. If he had lost, he’d probably have been right - some good publicity for a while, then back to business. When he won, the real scrutiny kicked in, and now anyone banking on the future should avoid anything that has “Trump” or “Kushner” in its name. There’s a whole lot of indictments and bankruptcies coming down the pike.
