Good! We need more lawsuits and court dates to keep Dotard from ruining any more relationships with our allies, and sucking up to dictators!

The only good this will do is to force The Dumpster to choose which he is gonna Tweet about. There are so many choices for the rants that it would be nice to see a head explode.

And his old pal Cohen might have a special surprise gift?

This had no short term significance given that Trump has (other people’s) bottomless pockets available to do scorched-earth challenges and appeals.

Trump’s lawyers at Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP note that Thursday’s ruling doesn’t decide their main argument: That a sitting president can’t be sued in a state court.

A sitting President enjoys exactly zero protections from civil actions or State actions while in office. The Constitution provides no abjuration of any actions on the part of any of the States except for those powers reserved for the Federal Government—and explicitly says so in the 10th Amendment. As the Constitution does not provide the Federal Government with the sole discretion on civil suits involving the President, the power to regulate this is reserved by the States.

There is so much malfeasance amongst them you need a star chamber to adjudicate the cases.

You sound like you’ve done your homework. I do believe you.
But I was taught the opposite in high school civics. Lots of misconceptions out there.

It’s pretty simple:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Show me where the Constitution says the Federal Government is the only one who can bring civil action against the President.
