What a dumb, dumb, dumb move. But it was only a matter of time.
As long as the extremes dominate the discussion no mitigation on this epidemic of violence will be achievable.
NRA = Murder, Inc.
False flag.
Moving on…
To all American gun owners, this is a wakeup call. They’re coming after us. Like and share to spread the word.
This is, and has been the NRA message to members for decades. They just change the “who” is coming after them. Yawn.
I will be in DC with my family on 3/24. I hope things don’t get out of control.
To be fair to the ‘extremes’, when innocent children keep dying left and right, inaction is perhaps the most extreme behavior. I support the sentiment of this billboard. And frankly, when one side of an argument is talking about maintaining a steady stream of dead kids, and the other side is talking about solutions to the problem of dead kids all over the place…yea, I guess every conflict must be based on extremists disagreements, huh? Or maybe it’s not so simple-mindedly both-siderism? Is that possible? I’ll have to find an extra neuron or two if I’m going to think about this much longer.
NRA operatives did it. Not very imaginative.
Out of curiosity, I Googled how much money was spent in buying our Congressmen annually. I was surprised at the small amount of money it takes to buy Congress. The total lobbying dollars in 2016 was 716 million. In addition to contributing to the Democrats, if we all kicked in ten dollars a piece to form our own super pac, we could buy Congress instead of winning it outright via elections. Hey, it’s the American way.
They’re a very sensistive bunch.

I certainly sympathize with your position and feelings about this. Unfortunately a lot of people have felt the same way for a long time with very little success to show for their efforts.
I believe it’s time to try something different.
We need to be thoughtful about the language. These are efforts to secure the community and provide safety checks within the gun ownership process. Finding a common ground through positive language will win hearts and minds.
Reasonable suggestions will likely be met with a reasonable responses- unreasonable suggestions will close doors.
Like most things in life funding these efforts will come up; Firearms Insurance or ‘Safety Certification Fees’ should be partnered with mitigation strategies.
Personally I’m done with ineffectual posturing.
What planet are you from, stranger?
I said ‘likely’. Maybe I should have written ‘hopefully’.
The NRA is dead already. They just don’t know it yet.
Except even reasonable suggestions still go nowhere, thanks to the GOP’s NRA shills in Congress.
Who’s coming to get us? We don’t know? Okay, let’s just kill everyone to be sure. We’ll start by killing anyone who knows how to use spay-paint.
Someone paints graffiti and the NRA is opening season on liberals. We’re all victims now?
Yeah, this. The NRA has been resisting and decrying as extreme moderate compromise solutions supported by the majority of Americans my entire life. The growing push for drastic action on guns is blowback from the NRAs decades long rejection of reasonable compromise. It is the result of the ongoing failure to reach a moderate compromise solution not the cause of that failure.
LOL at the whiny, snowflakey gun fetishists and ammosexuals – such campy drama queens! And always – ALWAYS – the “victims,” even though it’s everyone else actually doing the dying because of the NRA’s psychotic, deeply corrupt policies.
Of course, for the NRA, it’s never not the right time to shake down and fleece their army of useful idiots one more time with yet another cockamamie fear-based bamboozle.
Can’t wait for Mr. Mueller to nail these NRA bastards for laundering dirty russian money to be passed along to fund gop politicians.
